Process Description
When a customer calls an HVAC business that uses HVX Voice (either the business phone number or a toll-free number), the call is answered by an AI voice agent acting on behalf of the HVAC business.
If SMS notifications are relevant to the caller's service request (such as appointment confirmation, reschedule confirmation, or service updates), the AI agent asks the caller for verbal consent to receive transactional SMS messages from the HVAC business.
The AI agent informs the caller that message frequency may vary, standard message and data rates may apply, and that the caller can reply STOP to opt out or HELP for assistance. The caller is also informed that their mobile number will not be shared with third parties for marketing or promotional purposes.
